Yes I have made money in the stock market, also in the commodity and option markets.

I’ve made enough money to put me through high school and college
I have provided for my family thanks to the markets and am still reaping financial benefits.

Anybody who makes a lot of money invested a lot to begin with.

    Try reading "Investing for Dummies."

I made money picking good stocks like WDC and F.

I suggest "The Intelligent Investor’, by Benjamin Graham. It is used as a supplimant to his text (by Graham & Dodd) in every US college course on investments.

If you are in your early 20’s to age 35 you can make a lot if you invest money every month or payday. I started in my mid twenties and took my lunch to work and invested the 5 dollars I saved, so 25 a week and retired at age 52, but I also had a job with a pension so that helped. It takes 20 to 30 years and keep your money DIVERSIFIED so you dont lose 90% of your money like the ones who went too heavy into tech stocks at the end of the bubble. I did best in the S&P 500. Keep in mind you cant take any out till you are old. NEVER put all your eggs in one basket.
